MECC Releases the “2025 Business Sentiment Survey” Report,

Revealing Confidence and Opportunities for Foreign-Invested Enterprises in Macau and Neighboring Regions

(Macau, February 9, 2026) The Macau European Chamber of Commerce (MECC) today officially released the “2025 Business Sentiment Survey” report at the University of Saint Joseph. The report aims to systematically understand the views and expectations of foreign-linked enterprises operating in Macau regarding the local economic environment, policy trends, and regional cooperation. The survey results indicate that, despite facing certain global economic challenges, foreign-invested enterprises maintain cautious optimism towards the economic prospects of Macau and its neighboring regions, identifying positive opportunities particularly in technological innovation, regional integration, and talent mobility.

The survey was conducted from June 11 to August 8, 2025, in collaboration between the MECC Economic Development Group and the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Saint Joseph. It collected valid responses from 27 member companies of chambers of commerce with various foreign backgrounds. By analyzing members’ priorities regarding Macau’s economic development and investment considerations in areas such as Macau and Hengqin, the survey aims to more precisely facilitate the participation of foreign-linked companies in Macau’s appropriate economic diversification.

揭示外資企業對澳門及鄰近地區投資環境的信心與機遇

（澳門，2026年2月9日）澳門歐洲商會（MECC）今日於聖若瑟大學正式發佈《2025年商業信心調查》報告。該報告旨在系統瞭解在澳外資相關企業對澳門經濟環境、政策動向及區域合作的看法與預期。調查結果顯示，儘管面臨一定的全球經濟挑戰，外資企業對澳門及其鄰近地區的經濟前景仍保持謹慎樂觀，尤其在科技創新、區域融合及人才流動等領域看到積極機遇。

本次調查於2025年6月11日至8月8日期間進行，由澳門歐洲商會經濟發展小組與聖若瑟大學商學及法律學院合作完成，共收集到27家來自不同外國背景商會會員企業的有效回復。調查通過梳理會員對澳門經濟發展及在澳門、橫琴等地投資考量因素的優先次序，進行深入分析，旨在更精準地推動外資企業參與澳門經濟適度多元發展。
