MECC visited CTM recently to exchange views on the development of Smart City, 5G application and Socio-economic development
CTM introduced its 5G network construction progress, various 5G smart application scenarios and the vision of the development of “Digital Macau”.
President of the Board of Directors, Dr. Carlos Duque Simões, said: “MECC being a chamber of chambers (the National Chambers), works on 3 different areas:
KNOWLEDGE, which shares the latest development, strategies, and methods of both Macau SAR and Europe’s economy, report on the legal framework and institutional support to investment in Macau;
CORPORATE, about building good interaction of European companies in Macau, and working as a platform for them to create and share more business opportunities; and
GOVERNMENT, where MECC nurtures a good relationship with the SAR Government and its leaders, to raise the needs and concerns of Members.
Dr. Simões took the opportunity to thank CTM for showcasing 5G infrastructures that are the driving force to the success of Macau
Vandy Poon, CEO of CTM said that as the long-term partner of CTM, MECC have been committing to uniting Chambers of Commerce and building up the bridge between Macau and Europe, it’s a great honor for CTM to introduce the Digital Macau vison to MECC, and CTM is looking forward to maintain close communications with MECC, together contributing for the betterment of the Macau community.
