MECC 2016 Annual Gala Dinner ¡Viva MECC!”
The Macau European Chamber of Commerce (herein referred to as “MECC” or “the Chamber”) held its third annual 2016 Gala Dinner at the Grand Lisboa, Macau today. The theme of this year’s dinner is “¡Viva MECC!” to celebrate the thriving positive relations between Europe and the Macau Special Administrative Region (“MSAR”) in both commerce and culture.
The highlight of the evening is the presentation of the MECC Awards for Euroexcellence in Luxury, Food and Beverage and Innovation, which were launched last year to appreciate the contributions of local entities showing a consistently high level of quality and European standards in their businesses for the long-term benefit of Macau. With these awards, MECC aims to encourage local enterprises to continue their efforts to embrace Macau’s Sino-Western heritage and seek cultural and commercial exchanges, creating more opportunities for extensive collaboration in the future.
